A great place to stay with stunning views. There's a bus stop at the entrance so it's easy to get to Dachstein Krippenstein and Hallstatt. There's also a wharf close by with two transport options. Amazing and a clean room. Even the mattress was super comfortable, had super good sleep. View is out of this world, wake up early morning and you will be awestruck

The hotel we stayed in was wonderful, and the area of Obertraun is quaint, quiet, safe, and beautiful. The area is not as easily accessible to Hallstatt or other attractions without transportation—may be more easily navigated with your own car.
The village was small and quiet. The route to get to the Hotel was winding between houses and down alleys to get to. More difficult to find in the dark.
Obertraun is geographically spectacular with vistas that stun. A lovely local bakery, and the town has excellent proximity to Dachstein.
