Hotel San Domenico al Piano
Great location, not too far from Matera Centrale and the piazza is just round the corner. The room is clean, with coffee and tea provided. The breakfast spread is excellent, especially the pastries.

The hotel is incredible and the staff is as well. We absolutely loved our stay. It was truly a unique experience. However, guests should know that because the hotel is literally incorporated into the caves, it can be physically demanding climbing all the stone stairs. People with mobility issues ...
