Location is excellent. Overall clean property. Only drawback was there was no AC and only 2 small fans in the entire apartment. Not enough for the summer months.

Vse v poradku, prekvapily nas pouze chybejici zavesy, neodtekajici odpad ve sprse, ktery se nepodarilo po nahlaseni vyresit, a predevsim neskutecne mnozstvi emailu (12!), ktere k tomu prislo.

Overall our stay was okay - lovely daily breakfast from our hosts and close to all things we needed on this trip. Our main challenge was the unit we booked was not the unit we were given. The first unit lacked air conditioning which was a must in extremely hot weather. We had to make several asks ...

A very Czech town with many lovely parks and a beautiful old downtown. Great place for biking since it's very level. Much less expensive than prague but then it's not prague. Friendly people and surprisingly many pubs, bars, and good restaurants.
I've spent quite a bit of time in Hradec. Consider visiting Adrspach Rocks Natl Park, going up the white tower in the square, or taking a bus to Běleč to swim in the sand pit and get a sausage and beer at the pub.
