"This hotel looked amazing on the photos and in tye description but it's not a true reflection of the reality. The location is great, it's minutes away from the beach, but a lot of the beach is private and it will cost you to use their territory. There is a free bit of the beach opposite to the hotel ..."

The area around Varna is great for a beach stay, but for the casual tourist the city itself is only worth a brief stop. Nesebur, an hour south, is a better choice for sightseeing despite the crowds and schlocky souvenir-stand feel.
