We recently stayed at CitizenM Zürich and overall had a good experience, with a few important points to note. The room was very clean and refreshed daily, which we appreciated. However, the room design was not very functional — particularly the placement of the bed against the wall, which made it difficult for two people to get in and out easily.
Another downside was the lack of a coffee machine in the room. This made it inconvenient in the mornings, as we had to go down to the reception area to grab coffee or water. While coffee was included with our prepaid breakfast, it was only available until 11 a.m., which limited flexibility.
On a positive note, the hotel’s location is excellent — close to the main train station and within walking distance to many of Zürich’s key attractions.
Overall, CitizenM Zürich offers a clean and conveniently located stay, but there are a few design and amenity improvements that could make it even better.
