"Room wasn’t cleaned so also no tea/coffee/water replaced. Called reception and replacements promised within 10 minutes - never arrived after an hour so had to re request. No clean cups or spoons. Two power cuts first night with no answer to an Expedia message. Hotel was extremely dated and it is never a 4 star room and the receptionists all lacked basic pleasantries/communication skills. Much prefer Llechwen Hall stays. Golf course looked nice though"

"Stayed here many many times when working in the area and always find it clean and comfortable. Unfortunately on this occasion I was disappointed in room (207) as the window would not close and the room faces onto the busy main road which is very noisy. Also the TV was broken so had no choice but to listen to the boy racers and motorbikes outside instead. Just unlucky it was the last double room available. However that said I'm sure the issues will be rectified by the wonderful staff at Ponty...

"Hotel was convenient, bright and airy, clean, tidy, although has some wear on stairs. Staff very welcoming and friendly. It was surprisingly cool and quiet for the location and season! Amenities may have been 'budget' level, but facilities in room and Reception more than adequate. Shower temperature easily adjusted. 'Continental' cold buffet breakfast was varied and plentiful, and timings wide and convenient. I just might have to visit again, when it suits a journey!"
