We had an amazing time at our family reunion at Blue Moon. The accommodations were perfect for our family of 30. The grill/smoker were awesome for our cook out. The jacuzzi and the pool were great! The kitchen was big and had plenty of utensils.A few recommendations: better WiFi, the mattresses could stand to be upgraded and please consider making the house ADA compliant. We would definitely consider using again.

Great Property for a Navy Family Reunion

It was a great property for 4 families to meet up and enjoy the outdoors. Couldn't ask for better weather and the kids enjoyed running around with each other outside and taking over the bunkhouse.

Wonderful Reunion Event Area!!

I had so many family members remark on how this was the best place to rent out for our family reunion. The place was spacious, felt like home and full of amenities. Teenagers loved the pool. The ONLY major issue was the sprinkler system running outside the backyard. It was clear it was a recycled septic sprinkler. The smell made being in the backyard while running unbearable. Luckily it only ran late at night. This was the only drawback. We still will be back but will make sure the sprinkler is turned off or bleach tablets killing the smell. The location of the rental was near Tom Finley Park where we went fishing. Also close to the Extended Stay at Gun Barrel City where the overflow of family members stayed. Like I said, will stay here again.

Trade Days Family Trip

We had a wonderful time staying at this home and would definitely go again. It was perfect with all the activities to keep our teenagers happy and the bunk room was excellent. My only suggestion with that, is to carefully read the fine print as I was unaware when I paid that I was one person shy to include the bunkhouse. I did pay extra at check in and the owner was kind enough to send her cleaning crew over so the kids could get settled. The only other thing I would suggest to the owner is that the master bedroom bed is in need of replacing. Thanks for a great getaway!

Family Vacation

This an awesome house with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy each other. The bunk room was great to play charades and be as loud as they wanted without disturbing the whole house. We have a family vacation each year and everyone agreed would definitely come back to this house again.

Worked well for a large group of ladies!

Overall, the house was great for us. There were a few issues that I hope can be resolved before your next group. First, one toilet in the bunkhouse was very slow to fill up, so it wasn’t very usable. Also, the bunkhouse was not very clean. One girl had to brush away spider webs and ended up having two bites on her foot. Some of the sheets had a musty smell and the whole bunkhouse had an unpleasant odor. We didn’t know which internet provider we were to use. The password was available, but we had to call and ask which one to sign into. The person I spoke to was very kind, although he didn’t know which provider we were to use either.

Lots of room

There were lots of comfy beds, nice bedding, and room to roam. Would have been nice to have a few more lg pots for cooking for a group. They worked hard to make sure we were comfortable. Thanks!

The best vacation house ever!!

We had a wonderful time staying here. Three generations of family. The game room was full of things to do. The hot tub was great. Plenty of room to do Christmas Cookies. It was clean and the kids loved the bunkhouse. Everything vas perfect.

Great place for a celebration!

We were in town for a friend's wedding so all the bridesmaids and groomsmen needed to stay close by. This place was perfect!! The house was well stocked with essentials too! Loved having all the spices on hand for cooking. A return trip is a must so that we can take advantage of all of the games and the pool.

Fantastic home, can't wait to come back!

This home is perfect, it had everything we could have needed. Away from everything and very peaceful. My husband and I came for a romantic getaway with our dogs who got to explore the land and have a ton of fun! We are already planning and trip back with some friends in the spring! The bar/game room was our favorite with a pool table, ping pong and darts!

Wonderful time on this property, the kitchen was amazing and spacious with enough room for everyone. Plenty of games to accommodate all the young ones in and outside. Hot tub was a little tricky as it would cool down and take a while to heat up. Overall experience was good with lots of amenities as well.

Quiet Getaway on Large Property

This home was well stocked with everything we could want for a nice getaway. Obviously food was not included- there are lots of restaurants to choose from in the area. Plenty of room, quiet location away from it all. Clean and comfortable. We hope to get back here again! The owner was very courteous and helpful.

I wish i coups give a 20 out of 10 stars. Trent was amazing!! Super helpful and friendly!!! The house couldn't have been more perfect for our group. We had 4 moms and 15 seniors and we all loved every minute of it!!!

I rented this place last night and I can’t stop myself to write a review for this property. It is really good, cleaned, good for camp fire, good for hookah, good for party and we had a party of last night here and it was really amazing good for group parties over 15+ People. I would love to visit this place again for the next parties and would recommend. Hot tub outside is my most favourite

Great home for large family gathering

The Blue Moon Lodge provided a perfect place to hold our annual family Christmas weekend. There were plenty of beds, spacious kitchen, living room and game room. Although we didn't get a chance to enjoy the hotub, it was ready to go for us. The pool area looked like it would be a lot of fun during the warmer months. The owners gave us a tour of the facilities and were very helpful. The pictures were spot on so if you are looking for a house with plenty of space and peace and quiet, this is the place!

A nice, large home

Three generations under one roof with plenty of room to spread out. The house was nice and large, the kitchen well-stocked with all the necessary pots and pans, plates and cups, and flatware. And just as impressive was the pool and deck. If you are wanting a place to settle and enjoy each other's company, this is it. Town was a few miles away and really not a big draw, but still enjoyed the outing and found enough to keep everyone entertained.
