"As an American, I can say that cleanliness was not up to par with American hotels. Parts of it were trying to be upscale, for example the spa was amazing. However the rooms flush barely worked, and the bathtub was strange and we struggled to figure out how to drain it. Parts of it were not super clean. The gym machines were sticky. The landscaping and decor throughout different parts of the hotel were beautiful . There were also spiders all over the room"
"A small privately owned hotel, good situation for a visit to Saltaire. Many people arrived by train which was a short walk away. The owner was very helpful, even writing us a map to Saltaire."
"Worst place with the worst attitude manager. Stayed here before we flew the next day. Spa wasn't open as work was going on. That was fine, however I ran a bath and the water was brown with lots of dirt in. Ran the shower. Exactly the same. Went to reception to be told nothing they could so.
Requested a refund as this was unacceptable to be put in a room with no working water.
Got £50 pound back. I wasn't happy with this so spoke to the manager the next morning who was very defensive and said...

"I have never seen a dirtier hotel. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting with hair everywhere, old and mouldy interior, the toilet seat and front of the toilet were not cleaned. I had to wipe off someone else's waste in a hurry to use the toilet, luckily I always carry disinfectant wipes. The room smelled of urine, the bathroom even more. There was so much wrong with the room, we booked to stay the night as we had to attend an event at the hotel, we were unable to stay in the room and others...
