"Best hotel by far we have stayed in over many years of touring Europe. Good sized bedroom plus another room with sofa etc.! And a direct view of the sea out of both rooms. Hotel full of character, plus areas, including a large balcony, on first floor to sit with view of sea. Reception staff very helpful. Worth making a significant detour to stay in this hotel - attractive town has good range of restaurants etc."

The balcony with an ocean view was a wonderful place to pass the time when we weren’t exploring the area. Every room is designed so it is completely private, so you can have the curtains open on the entire glass wall in the bedroom and look out over the Bay of Biscay, and soak in the tub while inhaling the ocean air. You are practically outside. They really take care of you, here. They have a spa, and they are attached to the Akelarre Restaurant (3 Michelin stars) that started it all. "

"The room had two bedrooms and four beds for two of us. Super spacious (more space than we expected) and comfortable. The bathroom had a newly renovated, modern look and felt pleasant. We had a good night sleep and quite pleased with our stay. "

The hotel is modern and clean, rooms are spacious good value for money it’s on the edge of an industrial estate but 2 minutes walker into a great village with plenty of bars restaurants and shops the staff are very helpful and speak English "
