They brought us a snow shovel and even helped find some snow chains for our car. We’re definitely coming back to this house!"

"We had a good stay here once we were able to get into the house--the message we received with check-in information provided both the wrong house number and wrong door code. We could not reach the property manager to get the correct code (granted, we arrived at around 11pm and VRBO was able to eventually reach them), but fortunately we guessed the correct code. The wifi also went out completely 2 days into our stay. The house did have everything we needed and proximity to the valley was great."

"The cabin is very nice. It is clean, well-maintained with new carpeting and flooring. It is very spacious and great for a family or group. The location is great with easy access to the valley and also in the other direction to a small grocery store and gas. We had difficulty getting in because the door code was not correct and it took some time to reach the property manager. The house is advertised as having internet access. "The location and amenities where first rate. It was much better than the listing could have described. Comfortable beds, quality items/furniture through out, quiet neighborhood, and lovely small waterfall next to cabin. High Recommend!"

"Be prepared to check in with Redwoods Yosemite Management prior to occupying cabin. That wasn't indicated in our VRBO instructions. Luckily, we chose to stop by a nearby management office to use their phone(due to no cell reception), & discovered that was the procedure to check in. Had we arrived 1 hour later, we would have been unaware of the "after hours check in procedures" Otherwise, our accommodations were perfect & would gladly stay again."

"Great chalet in the mountains of yosemite! Kids loved the wood stove and the loft. Laundry was great. Checkin was delayed due to staffing issues, but they took care of us in the end. Vintage stove and sink bring challenges if not used to operating, but the charm is wonderful and we were able to cook all our meals. Definitely would stay again! Super cozy feels!"

"Location was ok but property needs some work. The drive way was steep and hard to park a full size truck in. There was not enough towels and the rug in the bathroom was covered in other peoples hair so we had to use one of the few towels we had to step on out of the shower. The shower is tiny and has nowhere to put your products. The outside was filthy so we didn't sit on the porch or anything."

"Love Yosemite but not the crowds? I get to the park 2-3 times a year, for 25 years now. Foresta is a gem, well off the beaten path for most visitors - but 15 minutes from the valley. Quiet! Wonderful hikes, literally outside your door. Foresta Falls are about 20 minutes away, and they'd be the centerpiece of a park anyplace other than Yosemite. Continuing on that trail takes you out to overlook the Merced River canyon. Another hike (on First and Second Streets) takes you on a loop around the...

"The home is spacious and clean. The beds were quite comfortable and the property manager was exceptional. When we arrived on the first night of our stay with steaks ready to grill, we were unable to get the gas grill going. Within 15 minutes he brought us a replacement. Our dinner plans were saved. "Google Maps worked well for us. The place was very clean. Check-in was pretty easy. Wonderful neighborhood. There is a small grocery store nearby that saved us a trip outside the park. The only issue was that AC would not work, it got hot inside the property in the evening and at night. We just opened some windows and handled the heat."
