Cozy "Sloth" Cottage by Yakima College, 5 mins to Memorial Hospital.

This is an adorable property on the same street as Bus 5 direct to Yakima Memorial Hospital. Perfect for travelling medical staff! Called the "Sloth cottage" because it is a relaxing place to work from home, complete with an old-fashioned work desk, wifi, and a claw foot tub for post-work bubble baths.
This is an older house, not suitable for unattended children who may leave behind snacks, eat in bed, or draw on walls. There are steps to the property.
Linens, towels included but be sure to bring extra toilet paper and paper towels for longer stays.
W/D included. Park in driveway or on the street.
This historic home has been recently redone with Ecocarpet and new paint. Please treat it like your own and remove your shoes.

**Absolutely no smoking inside or on the property (including the driveway and yard), no drugs, no pets (even snakes), NO SHOES, no unauthorized guests, no parties**

No clothes hangers, no face cloths, no ice trays, SHEER curtains with no shades on several windows, lawn in terrible condition, dirty front porch, no tub mat In slippery tub with no grab bars, small TV, stains on sofas, ONE laundry detergent pod, unwashed wine glass with price sticker still attached in cabinet, key under a mat ( had to wonder if copies were made). One travel size shampoo, conditioner and lotion for two people staying 3 nights. Dining room rug rolled up on two corners, creating trip hazard. I went shopping at Target to rectify several of these situations. I don’t think the owner checks up on the property regularly. Neighborhood is iffy. The devil is in the details…and no one seems to be paying attention to the details.

Good base for day activities

The house had all we needed for a week of day hikes around the Yakima area. Clean, comfy, well kitted-out kitchen, good shower with plenty of hot water, and in a quiet, well situated neighborhood. It was very nice to come back to this residential street after a day out. I'd come back here if I came back to Yakima.
