"Booked a few nights at earls cabin to break up a long drive home. Had a very easy check in while arriving late and great communication from Earl. Cabin had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Right on the river with a beautiful view. There is a house next door very close to the cabin the neighbors were very nice but when sitting on the back porch / back yard they were very close so if your looking to be totally secluded its not but again neighbors were great and rive was beautiful. "Everything as advertised. Points of clarification: There's no indoor pool at the community center. Why did I think there was one? Who knows. The beach is about 5 minutes down the road and the swimming areas are hilariously small. House was well maintained, but I don't love the memory foam mattresses - but that's more a reflection on me than anything."

The cottage had everything we needed and, even a few treats for the pup! We loved the cozy wood burning stove and the cottage was beautifully decorated! The community it is located in, Locust Lake Village, was fabulous! We loved using the sledding hill with our son and were only disappointed that the ski slope was not open mid-week. Beth was easy...
