"Simply spectacular. Great location ON THE BEACH. The beach is steps away and the beach chairs/umbrellas are perfect. The rooms are CLEAN. Great bathrooms and showers. The staff is so so so nice. Beyond nice. And importantly, the food at the restaurant is DELICIOUS. Happy hour helps a lot as well if you drink. Would definitely stay here again. "Sugar Bay is beautiful. It's quiet and smaller than super-resorts. The food was good - Sizzler steakhouse was outstanding. Getting to the hotel and accessing excursions was easy. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend. "

"The property was perfect for my wife and me. We prefer smaller properties and preferably quieter. The staff were superb - always friendly and helpful. Gerry behind the front desk was a mine of information and helped us out many times. Kenneth, the nighttime desk man was very personable and chatted with us each time we came in. The room maids were just awesome; we always came back to a room looking as if we had just arrived. The hotel restaurant had wonderful food and flexible hours. The pool was sparkling clean and never too busy and the adjacent pool bar was a bonus. We would highly recommend this hotel to families and older adults."
