"Pleasant hotel for the money, rooms are tidy and well presented - staff are friendly and helpful and there is a jetty with a ferry service connecting to Canary Wharf (& easy access to Uber boats) Breakfast was above average with a good selection and nice quality food & the bar has a lovely patio overlooking the river."

"We reasonably expected a bed but only got a mattress on a slightly raised floor which was a surprise as we've stayed in similar pods before. We slept well it was just difficult getting on & off it crawling up from the bottom of the bed. "

"Aloft House next to the Excel is a great place to stay if you want to explore London. Right next to the DLR line and the Elizabeth Line just a short walk away. The hotel has good size rooms, which are modern and clean. Great restaurant and bar with a great selection at reasonable prices. If you opt for breakfast included, there is a great selection of food that caters for everyone Staff are very attentive and provided great customer service "
