"Für Stadtbewohner mit Kindern ganz besonders zu empfehlen. Das Blockhaus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und im Garten haben die Kleinen reichlich Platz zum Spielen. Am Ortsrand gibt es ganz viele Tiere auf der Weide zu beobachten: Kühe, Pferde, Schafe und sogar Schweine. Bei einem Ausflug mit der gemächlich fahrenden Thüringerwaldbahn (Schnepfenthal hat eine Haltestelle) kann man in aller Ruhe den Blick auf die schöne Landschaft genießen."

"We spent Xmas and New Years at the cabin. We had a wonderful time. This is an ideal place to completely unwind and relax. The forest is 2 minutes away. We were lucky we had snow, and we took winter walks in the forest. The cabin is cozy and had lots lots of character. Thre are fantastic views of the forest from the upstairs balcony. The balcony was also ideal to see in all the New Year's Eve fireworks. Udo and his family were very welcoming. Thank you we had a fantastic time at the cabin."

"Alles perfekt. Ruhe, Entspannung, Ausflüge alles was das Herz begehrt. Das Haus ist ein Traum. Die Vermieter sind super nett. Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal hier und buchen wieder. Einfach ein Traum."

"It is a great hotel, but for summer or spring season is not very recommended, it does not have air conditioning and rooms can get very very hot. Aside from that inconvenience, the hotel is on a great spot, just steps from the main train station. Breakfast is great!"
