"A little disappointed! Unfortunately we arrived in wet weather and couldn't gain access to the property. We assumed that we would be met, but apparently we needed to contact the non English speaking caretaker and our french is not conversational. Fortunately we were able to contact the owner who was able to arrange access. "We had such a relaxing stay. The maisonette is so cute, and the nice area around it almost "forces" you to take it very easy and slow. We totally not felt guilty we only did a few trips in the larger Somme area and stayed outside the little house reading and enjoying the quietness and the animals walking by. The hosts are also extremely friendly and helpful and speak English."

"Der Urlaub war trotz schlechtem Wetter super. Mehrere Strände sind schnell mit dem Auto erreichbar und leckere Bäcker sind auch schnell erreichbar. Das Haus war sauber und es war alles vorhanden was man so braucht sogar Babybett und ein Wickeltisch. Ein großes Lob geht aber an die Besitzerin, wir wurden super nett empfangen trotz Sprachbarrieren. Sie hat uns zwischendurch bei schlechtem Wetter tipps für Unternehmungen gegeben und hat immer schnell geantwortet. Vielen Dank für den Urlaub"

"We had a really good stay and found the accommodation extremely good with the single exception of parking - this is complicated and not free (unless you want a 20 minute walk to your car) but, given how central it is, close to the square, shops and restaurants, this wasn't a problem. There are lots of great walks and a trip on the railway is a must! The owners have prepared a very detailed and comprehensive set of guides, so everyone will find something they like. Highly recommended."

"We loved our stay! The Gite is really quaint and with lots of room for a large family. The beds were really comfortable and it’s a very quiet location. Our dog absolutely loved it too with a huge garden to roam around. Just a few meters and you are at the top of the cliffs. What a view!! So beautiful. Isabelle was the perfect host and gave us lots of tips as well as some yummy local produce. We even had some bikes we could use to pop down to the boulangerie. The area is very quiet and not at all...

"Despite it being very low season and most of St Valery sur Somme being shut for annual holidays, we had a lovely time. We were aware beforehand that this was the case. We have stayed at this lovey Gite before and it was fabulous then. Situated in the heart of the town it has beautiful views over the bay and is a lovely cosy fisherman’s cottage. Great facilities and beautifully clean. The check in was as easy as always and we hope to stay again. Thank you."

"The property was clean and in a nice location, however the only negative I have is that the listing should state about the narrow spiral staircases and how the property is laid out, it was ok for me as we only stayed 2 nights anymore would have been a struggle,"

Die Betten sind für französische Verhältnisse groß (king size) und super bequem. Monsieur Havin ist ein sehr freundlicher Herr und Gastgeber."
