"Overall: A solid choice for a budget-conscious couple who prioritizes location over luxury and plans to be out exploring the city. My partner and I recently stayed at the easyHotel in Cardiff for a weekend break, and it was an experience with some real highs and a few things to be aware of. The Good Points for a Couple: Unbeatable Location: You really can't get much better for the price. We were just a short walk from everything we wanted to see – the main shopping streets, Cardiff Castle, and plenty of great restaurants and bars. It made exploring the city on foot incredibly easy and saved us a lot of time and hassle. Clean and Comfy Bed: After a long day of sightseeing, the bed was a welcome sight. It was very comfortable, and the room itself was spotlessly clean. The blackout curtains also meant we got a great night's sleep. Friendly Staff: The reception staff were always welcoming and friendly, happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions we had. Excellent Value: We were really impressed with how affordable our stay was, especially given the prime location. It allowed us to spend more of our budget on activities and meals out. What to Consider Before You Book: The Rooms Are Very Small: When they say "compact," they mean it! For a couple, it was a squeeze. There was very little floor space once our two small bags were in the room, and there's no wardrobe, just a few hooks on the wall. No Frills, Literally: There are no extras here. "
