"A lovely little property, tucked out of the way 15 minutes walk from one of the gates to the city of York. We parked the car and then left it there. There were local buses but we didn't feel the need to use them. A very modern downstairs bathroom. The stairs were narrow but were aware of this in the comprehensive details. Communication with Stuart was excellent and we appreciated his recommendations, sent to us just after booking, of places to eat and things to do. "A very handy location with easy on-street parking right in front of the house. Well-equipped kitchen with complimentary, quality coffee and tea. Clean, up-to-date bathroom and towels with quality complimentary shampoo and shower gels. Comfortable master bedroom (as in photo) with good quality mattress, though the other two bedrooms had much lower beds which had less comfortable mattresses. Overall, accommodation was fine for a family of four, though there was no wardrobe hanging space available...

"With a few changes our stay would be fully delightful. Brilliant location. Car parking. Loved it but instruction need to be clearer We eventually got hot water to the shower that didn’t go cold but even then it wasn’t hot hot. Lights anre on dimmer switches annd it took a call to Stayz for us to learn this so we could turn some lights on ant anll and others up. "The home was just as we hoped. Very clean, modern decorating, new kitchen and bathrooms, heating was warm and working well. We were allowed to bring our dogs, who had a secure back garden to play in. Nothing bad to say, the owners Steve and Carole, were wonderful and responsive. Thank you, we will be coming back!"

"This accomodation has been the best we’ve experienced so far on our trip. The bed was large and comfortable , the living area and kitchen were just right and the bathroom with bath was wonderful . It was lovely and quiet in spite of being close to shops. It was easy walking distance to bus station and pubs. Overall a terrific place to base ourselves whilst exploring Yorkshire. And we loved the heated floors☺️"
