"Amazing attention to detail for a specail retreat. Enjoyed the fire, views, quiet and spa. Nice to have an electric lazyboy and smart tv. Cooking facilities are good. Bathrrom os lovely. Blinds could be improved, getting a little tired but servicable enough. A fabulous relaxing stay, i have recommeded to friends, and I'm keen to return myself!"

"A great house for us, 3 adults & 111 year old. Convenient for showing family the beaches & getting on a Cape Reinga trip! Shops & restaurants within 2 km. Just beautiful looking out the ranch sliders & kitchen window.Only downers were no curtain on a small highup window in double room - we covered it cos we didnt want to wake up with the sun : ). Also would have appreciated a hose connection for washing sandy swimwear outside & a connection inside to use the washing machine. Wouldve contacted...

"What an incredible place, well worth the drive and investment Would be great if beach stairs were fixed for easy access to the beach. But we had a good time and the views far outweighed expectations The driveway is very steep and gravel is not goo with small cars but with a push up we made it up.All in all great place to stay! "A lovely property, a newly renovated villa in a quiet location surrounded by fields. Mostly well equipped, but lacking a few details like somewhere to hang towels in the bathrooms. Bath plug leaked and TV turned itself on at full volume at 7.30 am!! Good location for access to Twin Coast rail trail."
