"We had a great experience hiking the AT & enjoying the Berkshires and surrounding area. The home had everything we needed, was nicely decorated, and well stocked with all things from cookware to linens. Plenty of spaces in the home to gather as a group or family or separate for privacy. House is very convenient to Sheffield & Barrington where you’ll find plenty of restaurants & shopping. Brooks was great to quickly address any questions we had about the house or the area. Great home!"

"Property was great and the owners thought of everything. Instructions were clear and helpful! Didn’t want for a thing, such a lovely space to spend a few days and so close to Litchfield and Bantam shops and restaurants. We loved it!! "

The place was *very* clean and Tara was very responsive to helping with the only issue we had (which was weather related and not related to the house). The house is well outfitted and they also left a few basics for us in the kitchen which was a nice touch."

"The house was even more beautiful than the photos. Best hot tub ever, well-equipped kitchen (everything we needed and more), comfortable beds, quality linens and towels. I appreciated the labeling of light switches, as well. The owner responded to my questions quickly and graciously accommodated a few requests. I would rebook this house in a heartbeat the next time in the area. "

"Our family had a wonderful stay at the beautiful, clean, peaceful Hoyt House. There was plenty of space to gather together as well as spread out. The daffodils were beginning to bloom and there is the sight and sound of a running stream behind the home. We were close to fun things to explore like the Audubon, covered bridge, and Kent waterfalls. Great bakery, restaurants, grocery a short drive away. The heated indoor swimming pool was the biggest hit. We hope to have the opportunity to...

"Property is lovely and very well maintained. We stayed for over 10 days and it was a perfect home away from home. Owners are very kind and accommodating — when I couldn’t find a hair dryer one was delivered to the house within a couple of hours. They also offered to relocate us if we were bothered by the nearby forest fire, which was not necessary. I hope we’ll have the opportunity to stay again."

"Host was extremely accommodating and house was as-advertised. Great spot to explore great Barrington and surrounding towns! Wood burning stove and fireplaces are a real highlight! Fire pit is not advertised on listing but there is one. Would recommend highly"

"Beautiful, beautiful hotel and outstanding customer service and attention to detail. Not only was my room designed impeccably and clean, but there were free waters, snacks and freshly baked cookies available upon arrival. Their breakfast was outstanding (and free) and they had coffee, beverages and snacks available at all times of day - something almost all other hotels will charge you for. This is hospitality and going the extra mile to make customers happy. Love, love, loved my stay, thank you!"
