"We loved the location of this place and found it had everything we needed in excellent working order. We didn’t love the additional cost for linen and felt the doona’s were not clean. Overall it was terrific and would recommend it but bring your own linen."

Owners have thought of everything guests could possibly need, including ample breakfast provisions and pantry staples. Located in the centre of the lovely little township - with gastropub and shops a short walk away, and a short drive from the wonderful Brae restaurant. Would love to go back when the weather is warmer to take better advantage of the large courtyard out the back...

"Negative = House has no name 'Bertram' or number on it? Both rear doors had no keys? however staff rectified this promptly. Cars can be driven to rear of house and easily unloaded to upstairs kitchen and bedrooms. We understand its pet friendly but carpets were filthy and should be floorboards or tiles throughout (same as kitchen & dining areas) or carpets cleaned regularly. We were told further renovations/improvements are happening. House was very clean in and out but has a musty smell and...

"After paying deposit and balance. A mandatory ' Registration Check in' was required. This took 3 attempts and 3 phone calls. Finally it was decided that i could just present Drivers Licence when i picked up the keys. When we actually arrived at the Agent, however, they were friendly and helpful. The house was lovely with a beautiful view. One of the bathrooms had not been cleaned. There was a BO smell and shaving hairs in the basin. The other two bathrooms were better, but the toilet bowl...

"Lovely outlook, but the wet ramp was dangerous and impossible for a front wheel drive vehicle. Place was clean and well presented. A few minor things such as the bin drawer in the kitchen very stiff to use. The steps are very creaky and wake people up. The pantry doors in kitchen very squeaky too. Plenty of firewood and the heating was adequate, although the split system in the main living area didn’t seem to put out a lot of heat so might need some attention. The parking issue of one car only...

"The whole area was on point, very clean, fully equipped and you can tell that the house was being taken care of very well. Only thing my friends was worried about was it was at the front of a cemetery which was not included on the description. We had a weird feeling about the queen bedroom downstairs too. So I was a bit worried, and felt uncomfortable. But other than that, it is a very nice home. Thanks"

"This property was well sized for a family of five. With a large wrap around balcony and modern kitchen. Property needs some maintenance though - carpets had stains, the property smelt of dust and some fixtures were broken."
