When it's time to feed your crew, send the cook to the kitchen, which features standard appliances (including a dishwasher). Meal prep and clean-up are made easy, and you can enjoy meals together at the dining table for six. (Two additional seats are also available at the breakfast bar.) After dinner, hang out on the deck and while away the remainder of the day on the swing. Or, have a cookout and eat on the picnic table on the deck.

At bedtime, sink into the king-size bed in the main bedroom, which also features an en suite bath and a view of the bay. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the bedroom off the living area is great for kids with two twin beds. Altogether, this three-bedroom, two-bath home accommodates up to six guests. Two dogs are also welcome for a small nightly fee. And there's a washer and dryer in the second bathroom to keep your clothes fresh and sand-free throughout your stay.

Spend some time on your deck and watch birds swim and harbor seals dive right by the dock while the kids and dogs run free in the fenced yard.

Take a bike ride or a leisurely stroll on the beach, or hop on Highway 101 and head five miles north to Seal Rock at low tide to check out the tide pools. Or, go five miles south to Wakonda Beach or 11 miles to Yachats.

If you're looking for a comfortable family home with easy access to the water and an excellent view, book this one today and start making plans for your next Oregon Coast getaway!

Hot tub was great!
We had a great time in the home however there were a few things that need to be fixed. There was a broken pole in the master closet for supporting the area to hang the clothes. The dryer did not dry the clothes we ran it about 12 times and they were still wet. The dishwasher doesn't work and the plug for the bath tub is broken. We were disappointed the jets in the tub didn't work. The hot tub was delightful thank you. The curb appeal is not very welcoming. We got confused with the different color trash cans out front and got trash and recycling mixed up. The house was clean on first inspection however there was so much animal hair on the furniture and underneath the couches my little one had an asthma attack. The tv didn't have any main channels or any type of streaming devices it was unpleasant. There are so many ants is crazy. The house was so cold and no way to heat it. Great views and a nice back yard.

Disappointed
The great veiw is this property's only redeeming quality. We enjoyed watching the boats & tide come in and out of the bay. It has nice couches, decent beds and enough basic kitchen items to get through you stay. From the street the house looks abandoned with overgrown weeds and trees impeding. The entrance. There were dead birds & dog poop in the yard. The metal pans were all rusty, the glasses & utensils are well past worn & some of the cupboards were dirty & sticky. The toilet brush stunk so bad I had to move it to a room we were not using and close the door. Unfortunately, for me, the great veiw is not enough to overcome the "gross" factor going on at this house. It would just take a good deep clean (inside & out), and proper maintenance to bring this house up to standard.

Beautiful views of bay
Location is perfect. Couldn’t ask for a better view of Alsea Bay. We loved watching the boats and even did some crabbing off the rocks in front of the house. House needs needs some work. The porch light and master bedroom light didn’t work. The refrigerator light flashed every time you opened refrigerator. There was dog poop piles everywhere in back yard in the gravel. The cleanliness and maintenance is very poor. Extra items ( garbage bags, toilet patter etc is vey skimpy. They didn’t leave us any extra garbage bags so I had to call Vacasa to get some. That was a hassle just trying to get garbage bags after day 2 of checking in. My family was not impressed with Vacasa.

Great View - House in need of TLC
The wall of windows facing the bay is the very best part of this property. Although our family did have a nice time, the home is in need of TLC and repairs. The door handle on the slider in the living room was broken and if it hadn't been for the stick between the door and door frame, we would have had a safety issue. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of all of the doors/door handles, especially considering all should have been sanitized (blood stains on master bedroom door). Management did respond to my concerns in a reasonable amount of time and I did appreciate that. I've stayed in several VRBO homes and a 10 a.m. check out is the earliest.

This is a great property and we highly recommend it! Close to so many good things, and the hot tub and back patio area is amazing! You can easily drive to Newport or Yachats if you want to check out those towns, or just stay in Waldport, and enjoy what they have to offer. We would love to stay here again.

Perfect!
It was all in all great, a few minor things but nothing that ruined out good times. House is perfect for catching crabs and tide pools. Kids loved getting dirty and exploring. I watched from the hot tub. Thanks for a great stay.

Great view
View of the bay was beautiful. It was quiet, the home was clean and the 2nd bedroom bed was very comfortable. The box springs or mattress of the king bed should be replaced, as they are excessively noisy. I'd easily rate this property a 9/10, a 10/10 if you replace the king bed and box springs. The kitchen was well stocked as well. Also, we did see that there were some crab pots in the owner's storage, if those are available for guests to use upon request, that would be a great additional amenity being the property seems to sit on a VERY good crabbing area of the bay.

The view and hot tub were worth it.
I will say the stay was worth it for the hot tub and view alone. That part was great. The house was alright.. dated and things were falling apart. They didn’t have many normal necessities in the kitchen like oil or salt. The trash can lid was broken and the stools in the kitchen were very unstable and felt like if you sat on them they would just fall apart. We were super excited that they had VHS movies and a VHS player but when we went to use it, it didn’t work. That was disappointing. So it was ok but be prepared to buy everything you need to be able to cook there. If you’re looking for a low key getaway just for a hot tub then it’s right up your alley!

Ants!!
All in all house was in descent condition. The ant problem was very apparent as soon as we arrived. One of the bedrooms had a big problem with ants. And a note about the jetted tub not functioning should be in the listing as well. It was also the first time we have ever rented a place and had zero options for tv. I guess if cable won’t be offered maybe a descent movie selection should be available. We won’t be staying there again.

The Good Bad and Ugly
First I will start with what was good about this home. The location was nice, right on the water and short walk to the beach. The yard was fenced and great for the dogs. The hot tub was very clean and nice. The Bad- We had a bad problem with ants in the kitchen, they were streaming in from an outlet. We did contact the property manager and they gave us ant spray and ant traps. We had to live with the ants for 3 out of our 4 day stay. The kitchen and home was not very clean (which probably brought in the ants). This was very concerning in today's climate. The carpet was pretty disgusting. The kitchen was not very well stocked and all of the items were very old and in poor condition. The Ugly- The toilet overflowed and continuted to run. This flooded the bathroom. We did call the property manager who came and dried out the floor but did not clean it. Worse - we used the gas bbq to cook dinner one evening and it almost caused the house to catch fire. There were huge flames and it was difficult to put the fire out. The property manager was there (drying the bathroom) when this happened. He thought that the bbq had a lot of grease build up which caused the fire. He did assist to put it out. Overall this was not a great place to stay. It could use a lot of updating and cleaning.

BEST VIEW POSSIBLE
The location of this house is wonderful. Sit in the living room and watch boats, birds and seals through the wall of windows! The fenced area was perfect for our dog and quiet street with no traffic. Sadly the house is very dated and in need of attention. Carpets were cleaned but stains and wear are evident.

Love Harbor House
Harbor House is a perfect vacation home for relaxing and seeing the Oregon Coast. The house is great, very coastal, and those windows! The entire living room and kitchen is windows to the bay, plus a huge deck with picnic table and chairs. The view is ever changing, and even though you don't see the ocean waves, you see the high tide/low tide action, the sea lions and sea birds, and best of all the crabbing and fishing boats go right by your deck. The ocean beach is a short walk if you need to beach comb which we did 3 times a day. Waldport never changes which is what we like about it; the view of the bridge is great especially at night. The house itself is super comfortable (oh that master bed!) but not so fancy to have to worry about your dogs. And if you get bored of the awesome view, Newport crab markets and souvenir shopping are only a short, beautiful drive north. Don't forget to go down to the Waldport Docks and the Salty Dawg for local rustic entertainment and awesome food. We have stayed in 3 different homes in Bayshore and this is our favorite.

A beautiful location
Our family had an amazing time at this cute little house! We appreciated it having a fenced front and back yard for our 2 year old to play. The ramp down is still missing the bottom portion so you have scale rocks to up and down, there is a board missing from the gate to the ramp that a child can fit through (we found a small piece of plywood to stick in front of it) but other than that this house is perfect!!! You can clam and crab right out back which is great and we loved watching the seals play in the water. We will definitely be coming back to this house and are recommending it to everyone. Note: bring movies or something to watch Netflix or whatever you have. There are only a few local channels and the DVD player was not working.
