Located on a larger corner lot just 5 miles from the bustling town of Kailua and just a short stroll to the 5 mile stretch of white sandy beach in Waimanalo. This studio has a queen size pillow top bed, kitchenette with intimate dining for 2, full bath with tub and a private outdoor patio for alfresco dining. Air-conditioned or use the ceiling fan and let the ocean breezes blow in!
The perfect place whether on the go exploring the rest of the island, or just relaxing at home or beachtime everyday. FREE wifi, private parking, cable TV and 5 minutes walk to 2015 #1 top rated beach in world. Take advantage of the gas grill and kick back. Nice property right by the beach

Lovely spot nice neighborhood. Had everything you needed perfect for short getaway. The beach was fantastic only 2min walk from property. Vic was great

Great location, pleasant stay

Great location next to Waimanalo beach. Clean with amenities like beach chairs and towels. Communication with Vic was easy and he was readily available. Had a pleasant stay.

Bungalows with amenities near gorgeous beach

Little bungalow was equipped with everything needed. Vic the host, we met at checking, was very informative, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there.

Perfect Hideaway!!

A nice clean place to shower and sleep after a great a day at the beach our out and about on the island. Location was perfect! A block away from the beach and .4 mile away from best friend and her Ohana. Vic was a great host!!!

Great Location

This well kept, small place is just a very short walk to the best beach on Oahu. The neighborhood is lovely and a terrific, reasonably priced plate lunch restaurant is close by. Kailua, with a Foodland, Whole Foods, and many decent restaurants, is a short drive away. We stayed for a week in early August and there was a church day camp about fifty feet away which was noisy throughout the day. Otherwise, our stay was peaceful and quite pleasant.

Fantastic Location!

We LOVED our time at this property! The location could not have been better for us.... we took the very short walk to the beach every day. We were checked in personally by the owner and he reviewed all the property benefits as we arrived. The experience was wonderful!

Truly Paradise

It was magic! The little house was very sweet and comfortable, the welcome was very friendly and easily! It was a pleasure to stay in Waimanalo. It is so close to the beach…I walked barefoot to the beach every morning to watch an amazing sunrise! Thank you for having us! It was amazing

Get away from the hectic traffic of Honolulu

The place was perfect for us. On the east side of Oahu with beaches, sightseeing but without the traffic. We had lived in a moterhome for a couple of years so we felt at home with the small kitchen. A couple of things you should be aware, there is a step over to get into the bathroom and there is no sidewalk from the driveway to the door, so if someone has mobility issues, keep that in mind. Also the driveway where you park is small, so better to get a midsize or smaller rental card. We had a full size and it was a bit tight. Overall we loved the place and appreciate Vic and Karla as hosts.

Perfect location to relax and explore the island

We particularly enjoyed the location - close to Waimanalo Beach and convenient to explore the rest of the island - and the little outside patio. Communication was easy and efficient and check-in with the host was a good way to kick-off our stay. Recommended!

Windward wonderful

This was a nice clean little place. We just needed a place to sleep, shower, change clothes at a low cost. We eat out while on vacation so all we needed was a small fridge and a coffee maker. We didn’t spend much time at the beach but when we did go it was beautiful. We didn’t want to be on the busy side of Oahu so this place was great. Vic greeted us and got us checked in and checked to see if we needed anything. I will be saving Vic’s contact information in case we return to Oahu.

Quiet Beach Getaway

Had a wonderful few days in Oahu staying In Waimanalo. It was easy to communicate with Vic, who personally met us when we arrived and gave us a few local recommendations. A quiet, swimmable beach was steps away that had plenty of shade to relax out of the sun. We also enjoyed walking up and down the long beach to enjoy the beautiful views in all directions. The unit is in a quiet residential area with easy access to a local grocery market, gas, McDonald’s and several local eateries. We spent most of our time enjoying the sites around the island, hiking and exploring and found it an easy drive to most of the things we wanted to do other than the north shore. It was a great location for us since we wanted to be away from the crowds and traffic around Waikiki and Honolulu. The unit is small, but very cozy with the basic necessities. We enjoyed eating on the private patio and made use of the beach chairs and beach towels provided. There were a lot of other extras in the unit that we didn’t need but was nice to have available if needed. Mahalo Vic and Karla for a pleasant stay

Beautiful location

Great stay at a fantastic beach location

Thoroughly enjoyed this property and the amazing location! Vic was very helpful with activity and grocery / restaurant recommendations and provided just the right beach amenities. A bit of road construction in the area but our overall stay was excellent. Easily accessed the places we wanted to see. Enjoyed sunrise at the beach each day, long walks in the surf and sand, and kayaking.

A dreamy driftwood studio, walking distance to the beach!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was! Vic was accommodating and communicative during our entire vacation. The location was beyond compare! Perfect place for a couple to getaway and avoid the crowds. Lovely views, easy beach access, great accommodations overall!

Response to any issues were so fast! Had everything you would need (maybe a couple more trash bags next time). The reason only 4 stars is WE (this has nothing to do with the property or the management) weren’t prepared to be sharing a wall with a resident- our thoughts were that The property was a stand alone, we aren’t used to hearing someone or them hearing us.

I want to keep Waimanalo Beach a secret...

Walking distance to one of the most beautiful and least crowded beaches on the island - do I need to say more? If you want to avoid the packed Waikiki and tourist traps on the north shore, this is it. Plenty of hiking trials nearby. A variety of food options. Unless all you wanted is swimming/surfing/chilling on a beach, you do need a car to get around. Vic is extremely helpful, responsive, and accommodating. I hope to visit again.
