Extra towels, extra linens, and Lordy….a fricking cabinet that has spices left by prior renters so you don’t have to drop$100 if you want to cook something. The best part? "We had a crew from a few places over Minnesota meet up for a race weekend at Giant's Ridge. We were able to all get to spend some much needed time together to catch up, all while having plenty of room for gear and being less than 10 minutes from the hill. The home was clean and Kris was so accommodating!"

"The area around this house is part old commercial and part empty and dilapidated. I was traveling alone and felt I was in an unsafe area. The house was secure with good locks though. The first night the occupied house next door had a consistent banging on the door at 3 am and woke me up. The next 2 nights were without incident. Overall I liked the place for its cleanliness and updated bath and kitchen. Having streaming TV’s was very nice. I would stay here again if back in town. "

"Our stay was absolutely phenomenal. A group of 6 of us drove up for the weekend to go atving in the area and this was the perfect spot as we could leave on the utvs right from the property. When we arrived it was easy to check in, the house was spotless, and the attention to detail was actually insane. They had everything we needed and then more. "Place was very nice and comfortable. The only issue we had was figuring out the heating system, as we tend to like it a bit cooler. Beautiful location and very convenient getting to Giant's Ridge ski area and into Biwabik."

"Water wasn't Hot, just a little more than warm. Refrigerator - freezer side door holders still fly off and everything hits the floor. Brought it up last year, nothing was fixed. Washer and dryer look identical, would be nice if they were labeled. And the tree on the right side of the driveway should be cut and removed. It cost me $2,000 for a new mirror. TV's should at least have local channels."

"The yurt is perfect, with all the amenities for a relaxed stay in nature. The owners have provided all the access to power, water, heating to make it like a well appointed hotel room, but in the country and with windows all around. I could happily watch the sky through the skylight for hours."
