"A beautiful well equip comfortable cottage in the middle of the French countryside with its own private swimming pool and large garden.The cottage is several miles outside the town, so a car is necessary. We received good prompt information and tips from the owner. And received good local advice from Bill,the local rep."

"We arrived very late after a long drive but the key had been left in a safe place for us to retrieve. Cindy came the next day but we don't speak French and Cindy didn't speak English and communication was via the translate app on the phone - some of the details / instructions were very difficult to follow. We had booked for 13 but unfortunately only nine of us were able to go and enjoy the lovely facilities - big kitchen, dishwasher, large patio area, swimming pool area - perfect for a large family group of mixed ages.Would recommend not arriving late so that a full check in was undertaken upon arrival to avoid any misunderstandings. A full translation of all the information on the property would also have helped. However it was a very welcome break in lovely surroundings."

The location is wonderfully scenic and quiet and Thomas as host was brilliant - helpful and on hand to help manage the pool and share info about local activities and possible trips/places to visit. Very welcoming and friendly. The house was lovely - with plenty of space and everything you need to just unwind and relax. Evenings spent sitting outside under the stars were lovely. "

"We throughly enjoyed our stay with Amanda and Graham, such lovely hosts who couldn’t do enough for us, it felt like we were staying with Friends. The gite was beautiful, home from home with French charm, it had everything we needed. The grounds were beautiful and the pool area was lovely and clean. We visited the local market in Lezay, lots of small towns with in 15 minutes for supermarkets and boulangeries"

"Had a wonderful week in this beautiful property. It was so much more than we were hoping for. The house is tastefully decorated giving it a real homely feel along with French rustic charm, and was equipped with everything we needed. The Gite gave us even more space and equipment and is again beautifully decorated and maintained. The swimming pool is fantastic and was a real bonus in the hot weather. The shaded gazebo was also a lovely addition to the pool area. We used the large local supermarket and ate at home for 3 nights and found some great restaurants in the nearby villages to experience the local cuisine. The hosts obviously care about their guests experience and their property and we loved the welcome pack on our arrival. A great time was had by all. Thoroughly recommend. "
