"Nice big room in a central location. Marco is very friendly too. There was some confusion about check-out time which needs to be updated online. My booking said check-out time was noon, so we went out in the morning and came back to find the room had been unlocked, our possessions moved and staff turning down the room for the next guests. Apparently check out was at 10:30am, but this was never communicated to us. Marco and staff were nice about it though. "

Francesca is absolutely wonderful and her mother was delightful. They gave us great recommendations and made reservations on our behalf. "This is a fantastic place to stay. It is only 5 minutes from the funicular in the citta Alta and 2 minutes from the central square. The accomodation is very unique_ almost as if set in the walls. "Great hotel and exceptional staff who could not do enough for us. 15 mins easy walk from the Lake itself and main attractions, shops, ferry port, bus station etc. Como is a terrific hub to get around the lake and beyond. Our twin room was spacious with lots of amenities though area above desk could do with better lighting. Poor hairdryer but we had our own. Whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Great pool area too. Reception, Dining Room Staff and the barman up on the rooftop pool were so lovely and helpful. Plentiful breakfast choices and a warm welcome every morning. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation "
