The drive up to the house is quite adventurous with many serpentines to drive. So, you better do your shopping before you drive up to the house. But we liked it very much. "Very nice renovated medieval farm house. Rustic interior. Very nice kitchen and bathrooms. Good directions for operating the appliances. The location inside the remnants of a castle is remarkable, and the view from Monsummano Alto is spectacular. We also had a fantastic dinner at La Forresteria restaurant right on the mountain top."
