"This Villa was the perfect escape while also close to some fantastic day trip experiences. I was lucky enough to have a wedding here and also one week stay with family. The hosts, Mirella and Francesco, were exceptional for both our stay and our wedding. The experience was unforgettable, and I cannot thank them enough. "Nice hotel, very quiet not many people staying at all, I guess due to Italian holidays. We stayed in a spa suite, there were four of us, the price was very good. The room, if I'm honest, getting a bit tired. Some floor tiles coming up, taps loose, sink cracked, toilet kept running. On the whole was quite nice, and I'm sure when it was new it was quite special. Beware, as a family going for swimming, it was €30 for 4 of us to swim and you need swimming hats (€20) quite steep to use the community pool really. Breakfast was very good. Location easily accessible and 15/20 mins from centre of Parma."

It's walkable to the to the old town which was quite quaint and full of friendly locals! Would highly suggest this property if youre looking to explore the region and need a place to stay. "

"Since the booking was made for the same day, I wasn’t able to select a higher-priced option that includes free cancellation. I booked this hotel by mistake, as the drive turned out to be too long and we wouldn’t be able to arrive before check-in time. I understand this was my error, but I tried to cancel the reservation within 30 minutes of booking, and the system didn’t allow it. I also attempted to reschedule for a later date, but that request was declined. I contacted both the hotel and Hotels.com, but haven’t been able to find a resolution. I would really appreciate it if the hotel could be a bit more flexible in a situation like this."

"A wonderful little hotel between Parma and Reggio Emilia. A lot of character, very nice rooms, and wonderful staff. Morena, in particular, was very helpful answering all of our questions and being patient with my mediocre Italian. Will definitely stay at Hotel Tricolore again when in the area."

"Convenient to both train and bus stations, 10 minute flat walk. Lots of interesting dining options. Hotel provides guests water, juices, coffee, simple snacks throughout the day. Comfortable beds. Would recommend."
