"The location is really great, with only 5 min walk to the railway station and a 20 min ride to central Stockholm. The area is nice and calm, apart from some traffic noise. The house and garden are a bit worn, but the friendly and helpful host responded fast and efficient when we pointed out some minor flaws. Check-in as well as check-out was very convenient."

"Such a nice place to stay that was SO far from Stockholm traffic/stress and literally minutes away from Arlanda. Enjoyed the scenery and the wildlife out here. Wish we had had extra days to enjoy sauna more!"

"Two factors made our stay at this house so memorable: 1) The house sits on the beautiful island of Stegesund (no cars, only a small dirt road) that overlooks gorgeous water just outside of the town of Vaxholm. The July sun bathes the house in warm light all day long. You get the benefit of feeling away from the city while only being a 5 minute ferry/boat ride away from Vaxholm. "Jättetrevlig och ombonad stuga med både historia och atmosfär - mitt i smeten i Vaxholm och med en betagande sjöutsikt. På verandan sitter man perfekt med kvällssol och båtar i blickpunkten som kommer och går. En alldeles underbar och rofylld vistelse för den som gärna väljer bort hotellrum till förmån för något mer personligt och unikt."

"Das Haus mit großem Grundstück liegt sehr ruhig und gleichzeitig sehr nah am Zentrum von Lidingö mit guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und guter Busanbindung an Metro und Fähre. Nachmittags und abends scheint die Sonne sehr schön auf die Terrasse neben der Küche, die sehr gut ausgestattet ist und zum gemeinsamen Kochen einlädt.
