"We thoroughly enjoyed this little manor house. Loved the floor heating in the bathroom and the beautiful ancient windows. Absolute best was their breakfast, by far the BEST breakfast I ever had at any hotel around the world. The only thing that was a bit unusual, we booked the deluxe room and were expecting a sitting area, but only got one chair and a stool at a tiny desk. It did not look like the picture n the internet. It only bugged me on the one day we had rain and hung out in the room for a bit. Walkable to town without being in the midst of party area at night. Quiet enough to sleep with the windows open. Loved this experience."

"This is a very nice and comfortable hotel easy walking distance to/from the ferry terminal with light luggage. It’s a great location for the botanical garden and many, many restaurants and shops. The hotel is down near the harbor and most of the restaurants are an uphill walk on beautiful cobblestone streets. The rooms are nicely appointed and seem to vary in size. I had a single room which was rather small but very nice. The bed was comfortable, I had a soft comfortable arm chair and and a desk with chair. There was a well stocked mini bar under the desk. There was a good armoire with a small safe inside and an iron and ironing board. I had a luggage rack and there were 3 hooks on the wall by the door. Bathroom had a shower with sliding doors, shampoo, conditioner and shower soap. Heated towel rack but too far from the shower, a hook would be nice beside the shower. Toilet was lovely with an old fashioned pull chain to flush, heated floor in bathroom. The spa changing rooms seem to a bit run down since I was here 3 years ago. The soap and shampoo dispensers were broken or missing and they only provided a smaller towel instead of a beach size towel that I remember from the last visit. The bar is a magnificent design! The breakfast buffet has a great selection but gets very crowded the last hour."

"Visby is beautiful and Visby Börs is right in the centre of everything in a lovely building. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the staff are friendly. The breakfast is nice too. I have stayed in both the main Hotell Visby Börs and one of the fancy century suites, the latter of which are more like apartments. I would recommend both, depending on the experience you're after. They are served by the same dining room, which is decorated lavishly in the style of the suites."

"Adorable hotel with church ruins in the background. Large well kept room. Delicious free breakfast and staff very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Gotland was so much fun."

"Affordable, bed was comfortable, easy access to the showers and toilet. I also like how near it is to the ferry terminal. I am just disappointed the lamp by the lower bunk in Cell 27 was not working, and the wall outlet is a bit far from the beds. "
