"This stay was idyllic and everything that was promised. Privacy, serenity and beautiful surroundings. Loads to do in the area and off the beaten track enough to have a sanctuary from tourism. Susan was the hostess with the mostess. Always there for suggestions, but never intruding. Her family are quintessential Italian and we loved hearing her grandchildren calling each other across the garden, hearing the neigh of the horses and next doors donkey in the distance. If you like some solitude...

"Very friendly welcome from the whole family. The bungalow had everything we needed, with enough room for our daughter to stay with us for a few days. Weather was gorgeous, which made the pool very welcome. Very peacefull spot, the local town. Had a supermarket, bar gelateria and pizzeria, Lucca was 5 miles away, and Pisa about 20.....both well worth a visit. Overall a relaxing, stress free break. "

"The views from Paladini are beautiful beyond what the pictures show, but the people are even better. We spent nights sitting on benches at the fire, but on days we felt less social were given perfect privacy in the cottage. Colm was the ideal host.Our large dog was not only permitted, but warmly greeted and welcomed. The cottage not only had everything needed for cooking, but also books and a few games. Firewood was provided, and the wood stove easily and quickly warms the cottage (including...

"We had a lovely relaxing time here. Very clean and nicely furnished property. Fabio was friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful and quiet up in the mountains. If you arrive at night like we did it can be a bit tricky to find. A very relaxing stay."

"We had a wonderful stay in La Zinobita. Giuseppe and Cinzia were welcoming, kind and helpful hosts. The house was clean, comfortable and well kept with Giuseppe cleaning the pool early every morning. There were several terraces to enjoy the sun or shade. The pool was lovely with super views. The property is very well situated within easy reach of the centre and no problems parking outside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return next year."

"This was a joyful holiday stay. The apartment is spacious enough for two. And extremely well equipped. The location was delightful and surrounded by olive trees. The owner made the stay even better by being friendly, but not constantly 'checking on us'. There was the added bonus of the owner's dog wanting to sit with us while we sipped Tuscan wine in the shade in the afternoon.
