"This is an old house, with some interesting history & furnishings. It is not a hotel, it’s a B&B, with 3-4 bedrooms and the owners live upstairs. The ( ensuite) bathrooms are very dated. The ( included) breakfasts are served at 9am, but the staff are very helpful and did provide breakfast earlier when we asked. "This place understands what hospitality is. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed as if it was our home. Our bags were taken to our room and we had a welcome drink on the terrace overlooking the spectacular Douro Valley.
