Located in the Oro Valley / Northwest Tucson area that offers tons of options of things to do and places to visit. Including beautiful hiking trails (Catalina State Park, Sabino Canyon, etc.), accessible and well maintained bike routes (The Loop trail and plenty of mountain bike trails), numerous world class golf courses (Tucson National and many others), University of Arizona athletic events, Reid Park Zoo, Desert Museum, Saguaro National Park, and plenty more. Further, there are countless fine and family dining and shopping options. Specific for traveling nurses and physicians, there are plenty of hospitals within a reasonable commute including Banner, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Hospital, and TMC.
Located in the heart of Oro Valley, this comfortable 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom southwest-style home provides the ideal base-camp for all the hiking, biking and exploring Oro Valley has to offer; as well as a cozy retreat to relax and unwind by the grand 2-story adobe fireplace or outside in the hot tub and pool.
Multiple seating areas are available on the main floor for together time with family and friends. The entertainment room on the west side of the house is equipped with a large 65-inch TV, leather couch (which can convert to a queen bed when extra guests come to visit), comfy love-seat and over-sized armchair. On the east side, large windows overlook the lush backyard, pool area, and surrounding Santa Catalina Mountain range. Get cozy around the wood fireplace in the evenings on the leather sofa or recliner armchairs. Firestarter log provided in colder months. The formal living area extends into the dining room, which easily seats 6 with room for more when table is expanded.
The large kitchen at the center of the home is well stocked with all the essentials for cooking and baking. Brew coffee for the family or the individual in the new Keurig Duo, mix up some smoothies in the Ninja Blender, or treat yourself to a stress-free dinner in the Instant Pot pressure cooker/slow cooker. Uncork a bottle of wine from the drink-one share-one wine rack. Bar stools at the counter-height peninsula encourage the family to join the Cook in the kitchen and provide informal seating for grabbing a bite to eat.
Double french doors between the kitchen and entertainment room lead to the lush backyard. Citrus trees and other flora abound around the large (unheated) swimming pool or hot tub. For the little ones, a sandbox with beach toys adds to the retreat resort feel of the backyard. Grill conveniently located right outside the back door for quick trips back into the house for those last-minute ingredients.
Upstairs, enjoy the backyard from above on your own private covered balcony accessible through gracious french doors in the primary bedroom. The primary bedroom also boasts an en-suite bathroom with double sinks, a large shower area, and closet space. Unpack into the extra-large closet or 2 dressers and enjoy sweet dreams on the comfy King size bed.
At the other end of the upstairs hall, a second bedroom comes furnished with a corner writer's desk, queen bed, and night table. Unpack into a generous closet with full-length mirrored doors. Extra amenities include 2 luggage racks and bedside lamp with USB charger port. The third bedroom is furnished with two 2-drawer dressers and a comfortable queen bed, generous closet with shelves and hangers to unpack and settle in. The upstairs hall bath is equipped with double sink vanity, tiled tub and shower combo. Bathroom amenities include starter soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion, plus soft and fluffy towels and face cloths.
House is located conveniently within a few miles of groceries, Starbucks, Walmart, restaurants, hiking, bike trails and park. Trail maps and other travel brochures conveniently provided to enrich your Tucson experience.
Only a starter set of paper products will be provided including toilet paper, paper towels, bath soaps, trash bags, etc.
For the health and safety of our guests and the preservation of the hot tub equipment, the hot tub is drained and unavailable from mid-May through mid-September.
