"Overall the property was mediocre. When we got to the airport we called for transportation, as planned before hand, and there was no response, so we had to rent a driver from the airport. When we got there there was no welcome and the orientation wasn't well coordinated. We found out later by ourselves that they had a whole restaurant that was open to the guests ( we weren't told upon arrival). "I just stayed one night before taking my return flight to DFW. It’s a 5 minute drive to the airport. Very clean with only a few rooms. Staff was warm and very welcoming. Good kitchen and bar service."

"The room was nice, it’s a very nice small hotel in a very nice neighborhood. But it’s still under construction so it’s not yet reached it’s expected potential."

After waiting for one and a half hours at 20.00 hours I received a message "Sorry, but the owner cancelled the booking " At that time of night in that area where there's no other accommodation we had to hurry to the next area 45 minutes drive away where we were lucky to find accommodation for the nights, the lady said that we were so lucky because she was just about to close for the night. "Staff was very friendly and management checked in on us. The only problem we had was all week our room kept getting skipped over for a cleaning. Our dirty towels were towering. We did have the green button on for “open” instead of the red but somehow we were overlooked. We got towels right away when I called and management was willing to help. Overall very clean, quiet, good food, and entertainment was nice. Best part was the ocean and the private beach where you didn’t have to worry about leaving your items by your beach chair and walking away. We loved it!! "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Jewel Grande. The resort was well kept and the staff were polite and helpful. Our room was very nice and spacious with an amazing view of part of the resort and the ocean. The food was excellent everywhere we ate from the breakfast buffet to the lunch options and finally the dinners. It was peaceful and had the feel of a private resort and beach. We had an amazing time and we certainly come back. "
