This is my favorite picture from this project. I think this is my favorite because of the beautiful barn art. This barn was the first thing you saw when pulling into this man’s driveway. I found it funny because this isn't something you would usually see when first pulling into someones drive way, but it didn't look out of place in this environment. I think the people of Appalachia are proud of things like this because it is a part of their history, it has character. #appalachianechos

"Great location convenient to Boone and area attractions. We were able to quickly get to local trails. Relaxing location with deck; it was just one family but could have easily hosted two. Has a cozy fireplace and sitting area. Bathrooms look new and are spacious. Enjoyed lunch at the billiards hall nearby too and driving by the horses!"

"Place had a beautiful view and accommodations. Window was out in one of the bedrooms with plexiglass taped in, which made room cold, but I am sure they have fixed now. Overall loved our stay. "

"I have stayed here 3 times with various friends/family and it never disappoints! With 5 bedrooms it’s perfect for a girls vacay. "

"We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect for our big group with much to keep the kids entertained. They loved the theater, the arcade, and the play house. We loved sitting on the deck admiring the view or near the fireplace. There was much to explore in the area and plenty of activities at the house when it rained. "
