"The property was nice and breakfast was excellent but the pics shown on Expedia alludes to a hotel that does not exist. The pool is not on the property (you can get a voucher to a pool 300 meters away and that pool looks nothing like the pool in the pics representing this property)> So the property was nice and the service great and the staff very good but you will not get the place these pics represent. "This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The lady who runs this is absolutely wonderful (as well as her pet goat and dogs). She even makes a lovely homemade breakfast, by request, for only 6€ a person. In the morning, we could smell her homemade bread baking. The suite we stayed in had a full kitchen, a super comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a beautiful balcony with a view of the hills. The property is very quiet and located in such a peaceful area. "Breakfast was great and service was attentive, and pool was also great. On the negative side, some of the carpets were dirty in the hallway - for a couple of days, and one of our beds had dirty sheets. But the more unpleasant was that we’re a family of five with young children and despite having plenty enough beds and space (square metres) in the room, they forced us to take another room."
