"This is a lovely cottage in a stunning location. The photos don't do full justice to how nice this place is. Small and still perrect for our little family. Very well equipped. Gorgeous gardens, bbq, outside seating is a plus. Lovrly nature right on your doorstep. Hosts were fab. Recommended!"

"The property is set in a stunning setting, opposite Blencathra, in a really quiet location. Unfortunately, however, the cottage has a rodent problem. Each morning we'd find mouse droppings underneath the fridge, on window ledges and by the sink. On leaving we also discovered mice had chewed through one of our bags."

The whole experience revolved around access to hot water. I was late to work because there was no hot water. We didn’t know at that time that hot water was timed to switch off at 6:30 and if one person had a shower, then others cannot. "The cottage is in a great location for the northern lakes giving easy access to Ulleswater, Grasmere and Windermere. The house was very clean and contained everything you would expect. Although there is a shower head in the bath it’s not easy to use as there is no shower curtain or screen. The jacuzzi was very nice though once you got the bath to a nice temperature. The heating control was a little lacking. We could not turn the temperature down in the middle single bed room and this room...
