"This is a five star review for a two night stay. You must consider hotel cost when rating the Eva. It was half the price of all of our other stays in Vietnam. Room: bed a little hard but this tracks with Vietnamese hotel bed standards. Fridge did not work. There is no safe in room. The air conditioner is incredibly strong and can be left on even when you leave the room which is important as we were leaving and coming back frequently due to the heat. "This small hotel was a little bit quirky but I had an enjoyable stay. The staff at this hotel were all very nice genuine people and I thought it had a relaxed atmosphere about it. "The hostel itself is well appointed and close enough to the main ancient citadel as well as he bus pick up to arrive and leave However, the dorm was cramped and despite the air con and additional fans it was boiling hot so much so that I woke up with damp pillow and sheets.
