"We really enjoyed our stay in Fontaines-en-Sologne. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you would need and also has a barn area with a table tennis table, badminton and boules which we enjoyed playing. The gite is in a really peaceful location but it is close enough to the village and attractions. We particularly enjoyed the Grand Chambord natural swimming pool so would highly recommend this on a hot day. We also visited Beauval Zoo and Cheverny Chateau which were both excellent....

"Lovely little break, and lots of space for the whole family. But the Vrbo listing is a 3rd party agent. We chose to book this property for all the amenities included only to find a week before that we'd be charged extra for bedding and towels, the property owner then saying she doesn't use Vbro and advertises through someone else and advertises for the extras on their site. Not a ruined holiday but added another level of worry when we only discovered this the day before getting on a ferry"

Enormous care has been given to every detail, high-quality appliances and bed linen, lovely furnishings and comfy beds. "The property was perfect for our short 2-night stay to visit Zoo de Beauval and Chenonceau. The house was clean, well-appointed and comfy with plenty of games for the children. The only things lacking are WiFi and a washing machine but we knew this when we booked. After our days out we relaxed, dined and watched the sunset in the beautiful garden. Communication with Olivier and Emmanuelle was excellent too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily book again if we return to the area."
