"Terrific hotel in Gythio. Check in was fast and professional English spoken. Our room was very nice with a soccer field sized balcony and furniture. The room was spacious with a very comfortable king bed. Bath had a deep soaking tub and modern fixtures. Breakfast was wholesome and fresh but the offerings did not change over our 3 night stay. Great coffee and orange juice too. Eggs, omelets and meats/cheeses on offer with some pastries as well. Staff were all very charming and we agreed returning on another trip. Thx Pantheon."

"This is a small, quaint property that is superbly maintained. I can't recall having a better experience with any service staff I've encountered. Given the sea mist that typically covers these types of properties, one would expect some moist outside furniture, but rest assured HB's staff was on the spot making sure that wasn't the case. The breakfast buffet was huge and the food was outstanding. Suffice it to say, this is a superb property, and one that can be enjoyed without having to take out a mortgage to pay for it. Five stars!"

"This hotel/resort is a gem. I would consider this a 5 star resort. The bungalow we stayed in was modern, clean and spacious. Some bungalows had private pools. Incredible value! The pool was gigantic and well maintained. The free buffet breakfast was incredible. Staff were super friendly. Tennis courts and playgrounds for children were top notch. The hotel is located right on a beautiful beach with chairs and umbrellas provided. Bus to old town located in front of hotel for $1.20 euros. Taxis were inexpensive, $6-7 euros. My favourite place in Greece to stay. It has everything! We didn’t want to leave. Kalamata is a great, safe and super friendly city to visit and restaurants are the best. Incredible value. "Spent one night here on the way between Nafplio and Olympia, it was early March and still the off season so not many guests but staff was very nice and helpful, breakfast buffet was fabulous and the dinner we ate in the restaurant was delicious. Room was very nice, pleasant little balcony and nice sea view. Not too much to do here in the off season but we had a nice rest day (which is what we wanted) on the little (rocky) beach and drinking coffee on the patio of a cafe down the road "
