The one benefit to my parents living in rural Pennsylvania is that there is a never-ending selection of fresh produce right down the road. This farm market, on the corner of two busy roads, is my favorite. They have a tiny room of decorations for your home which I like to view but my favorite part has to be the tables and tables of flowers, fruits, and vegetables. The air is rich with a sweet, delicious scent. Your mouth will water -- that's how fresh everything is! It's also really cheap.

Seriously, the best fruits and veggies I've ever had for snacking and cooking has come from this place. Every time I visit my parents I make it a point to visit there and take armfuls of fruits and veggies back home with me.

"The cabin was exactly as described and pictured. While small, as described, it was charming and well set up. the outside, had a number of spots rot sit and enjoy, while inside there was room to relax and make a cup of coffee, or warm up some food. For a quick get away, or even a week, its a wonderful place. They caretaker was great in responding and we actually checked in a couple hours early! "

While the lake, basketball, tennis, boats were a 9 min ride, it was ok because there was so much beautiful dear on the way. "The charming cabin is located in the prefect place that is secluded in the woods and close to Jim Thorpe’s main drag. The cabin is country and yet contemporary. Well stocked kitchen for your food prep and cooking. The beds extremely comfortable. And the best part is the gas fireplace with the recliner sofa in front of it. Nothing better than an after dinner drink watching TV in front of a warm fire. We plan on renting this place again. "
