"We stayed at this place for a night . Words are not enough for this place it is so peaceful place perfect for an escape away from everything. Our room was with garden view it was so so so cool . The best thing was waking up in the morning and hearing the birds chirping. This place really remind me days back in my home country my farm house. It is really a comfort place to stay. So clean and tidy place well maintained the whole property. We will definitely come back to stay here again and again."

"I arrived at the property and the owner came out after an hour to tell me that he knows nothing about this ad being advertised and refused us entry to the property. Gareth is the room mate of the owner. Gareth doesn't answer his phone or his messages. I'm now trying to get a refund.. don't stay here at all unless you want to lose your money"

"Being an animal lover the pets were a wonderful addition to this property. Owner and pets could not have been more welcoming. The cottage is very well appointed with everything you might want and more. A very short drive from Christchurch but it feels like you've gone miles into the country - getting away from everything almost on your back door if you're a Christchurch person, and a wonderful break from the city if you're a visitor to Christchurch "

"The hosts were excellent - very welcoming and went the extra mile for our kids when they asked to pat the dog or for a hot chocolate at breakfast time. The five-o-clock wine time was a lovely chance to chat with other guests from around the world. Very convenient location. Only downside is that it's an older building so the noise from Christchurch's boy racers can be irritating at night. A minor problem. We would definitely stay again."

"Beautiful property and very friendly owners. The room and common areas were spacious and private. The grounds are well kept, and the house is about to undergo maintenance which should polish it up - not that it needs much. Breakfast was sensational - big serves and really high quality. The owner was very friendly offering site seeing advice when asked, and helping me make a doctors appointment when I got ill (nothing to do with them). Beautiful, I'll go back for sure."

"Large but still slightly cluttered room. Hotplate and small kitchenette but no sink (plastic bowl) and a fold out table. Freeview TV. Suitable for a night or two but less so for a long stay. Two Fat Possums nearby does wonderful takeout Pizza but very popular on weekend for dine in. Bakery in same shopping centre is superb."

"This is just a normal family house let out in rooms. It is not a guest house or hotel. One room has en suite the orhers share a bathroom. Shared kichen etc. Owner lives elsewhere and tried to move us from the en suite room we had booked. We stayed one night then moved elsewhere."

"It was lovely and new and catered for a lot of needs with washer/dryer etc and laundry liquid It was a little noisy out front for what I’m used to and the heating had been set cold so I had to figure that out.
