"A homely, comfortable property with everything you need for your stay. Communication from the owners was excellent before and during the stay. The house was clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast left in the kitchen was well beyond what I expected - cereals, pastries, fresh fruit, cooked meats, yoghurt, juice and milk. City centre c30 minute walk, which is where the main restaurants are too, although we really enjoyed spending an evening in tge apartment and having a take away delivered via Deliveroo!"

"We did not stay. The room was upstairs and we had to go through a really trashy yard to get to it. It was cold and the heaters didn’t work, smelt like mildew and the bathroom was a disaster! To be picky: in my opinion things like salt / pepper / shampoo would be expected in an apartment. The double bed wasn’t the most comfortable thing I’ve ever slept on! The bath towels are quite small. "The apartment was securely accessed. The apartment itself was large, comfortable and very clean. Access to the nearest pub/restuarant was only 4 min walk away, but kitchen facilities were ample if you wanted to make your own food."

"A very pleasant stay at the accommodation. Although it was only for one night, it was worth the money. However, there was an unpleasant smell that greeted you as you got into the apartment which you kind of get used to."

There was a radiator but it meant you would be dripping wet getting out of the bath to get it. There were only pegs by the front door of the apartment. There was no full length mirror. "We had a wonderful stay! Lindsay was so kind to help us get to and from our destination. The pod itself was super clean, and set up for Valentine’s Day which was a beautiful little extra touch. Tea and coffee was provided, had everything you would need for a perfect stay! Can’t thank you enough for a wonderful trip to Southwell. We will be back soon. "

"The cottage is situated in a peaceful rural environment yet just a minute or two's drive from the A52 with easy access to Grantham, Nottingham and beyond. The cottage itself is spacious and homely with every facility you could wish for. We loved it. Lynn has thought of everything and likes to communicate personally to ensure her guests are fully briefed about the cottage, its history and the local area. Fabulous!"
