My kids didn’t use screens once! We played games (provided), laughed, and made real memories.Melba, who cares for the home, is a treasure. She’s attentive without being intrusive, makes amazing coffee, and her meals were better than most restaurants. She even cooked special dishes for my picky 3-year-old and set the table beautifully, making each meal feel like a celebration.The home is spotless and even better than the photos. Soft linens, cozy beds, blackout curtains for sleeping in and even a hidden gem: a small gym overlooking the lake that’s not in the listing! Every room has a stunning view, so staying in was just as special as going out.One of my favorite memories was playing the record player and watching the sunset with my husband, wine in hand. This stay set a new standard for us. We left recharged and can’t wait to return."
