"It was cold, dark and the rain had started to fall. We were late arriving but that was no trouble. The staff were friendly and hospitable and suggested the restaurant within the complex for our dinner. Brilliant ! Some delicious options there. The room was basic but was clean had everything we needed. A mattress topper wouldn’t go astray. Tea and coffee and bikkies appreciated ! Above all fantastic service from the team."

"We were delayed due to airport issues arriving at Maleny Tropical Retreat extremely late at 11:45 pm. However Ken the owner was very hospitable and nothing seemed too much trouble. The communication each day was excellent and more than happy to recommend this peaceful tropical retreat. It is good value, peaceful and location is great. "

"An absolutely beautiful weekend was spent relaxing at this incredible resort. Between the sound of the waterfall from our cabin to the luscious rainforest surrounding it, you breathe a sigh of relief as soon as you enter. Lisa in reception may be the friendliest receptionist I have ever encountered with a gorgeous twinkle in her eye - she is genuinely happy to see you. We could not have asked for a better experience and cannot wait to come back! "
