"I was in the area for the 250th anniversary of the Green Mountain Boys' assault on Fort Ticonderoga and stayed for two nights at "Camp Howard".I had the best time, it's a really cute yet very spacious cottage, remote and yet easily accessible along a private road.It was truly refreshing to not have cell service, it took me a few hours before I truly relaxed.There is a river down below the back of the cottage and I fell asleep at night hearing the noise of the water.Great property in a wonderful...

"Quick get away for Husbands birthday. Very quiet with relaxing indoor and outdoor spaces. Wished we had longer to stay. Easy drive to do activities in the area and return to this private beautiful home. The view were beautiful from the deck."

"Overall we had a great stay. The lake was beautiful and the house was great for our group. The only negatives were that the road leading to the property is probably not possible for anything besides an SUV or truck. I feel like this was explained in a level of detail that did not do it justice. The only other downside was that the beds were quite uncomfortable. Other than that we had a great time and the home more than accommodated our group!"

"Stayed here with my three children while skiing at Killington Mountain. It was a really nice cabin with a little fireplace which made it cozy even when it was really cold outside. The owner was very nice, and made sure we had a great stay. Highly recommend this property for other ski lovers, it's super close to PICO and not far from Killington, took 10 mins to drive to Ramshead. Beautiful area. "

"Our group booked this place for a ski trip to sugarbush. A remote area, but the cabin was very cool and our host were the best. The warm cinnamon twists in the morning were a big hit and the hot tub was perfect after a day of skiing. Would definitely look into booking this in the summer/fall. "

"The property was a great location to the college in Castleton!! We had a group of 10 family members and the accommodations were great. All of the beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed… even a hair dryer!! The lake view was beautiful!! Would definitely stay again!!"
