"Old college friends meeting up once a year for antiquing, no cooking, no husbands and lots of conversation. We enjoyed a two night stay. Plenty of space for 2. Each of us had our own bed and full bath (up bath is a shower only). One of each on the main floor and in the basement. Minimal but nice decor. Wished we brought binoculars. Pretty view of the lake. A decent walk to the dock. Mown path. A killer climb back up if you have sciatica and bad knees. We didnt spend much time in the back....

"We had a great time at the cottage. The kids loved the bunk bed room. There were plenty of bathrooms for everyone. The view of the lake was pretty and the neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed eating our meals out on the deck, which was covered so the rain didn't stop us. One draw back was there was a slight musty smell in the basement, but our teenager had no trouble sleeping down there or using the pool table. "My husband and I needed a quiet get-away and this was the perfect place! Our hosts graciously met us to check us in, even when we arrived late. They walked us in to make sure everything was in tip-top shape and that we had everything we needed! They were friendly and stayed in good communication through texting. The cabin was comfortable and cozy and the view of the lake beautiful! We will come again! Highly recommend!"

"The cabin worked for a home base for us, but it was not what was pictured...not even close!! outside was nothing like the picture, cabin looked older. Upon arrival, kitchen sink was dirty, stove had obviously had something hot spilled on knobs that were melted and grimy, stove had no propane, we had to switch the tank over (they did refill it), they provide the charchoal grill as listed, but no utensils.
