"I came to take a private retreat “away from it all” and was delighted in all ways by my stay. Bob is a cordial and caring host. The cottage was impeccably clean, updated and well stocked with all little touches from coffee to brew, creamers and condiments, soft and comfortable towels, blankets and sheets (I only mention because of their comfort). The place was cozy and well arranged. Nice screened in front porch and chairs and fire pit by the Esopous Creek… a few feet from the cottage. Location...

"The house was very clean and well appointed. Internet was great, and the bed was so comfortable. We met Eric, our host, who gave us invaluable info about a hike/waterfall nearby. The baseboard heat worked well, and there were plenty of pillows and two warm comforters. The jugs of bottled water were appreciated. There was a big grassy area for the dogs to romp. We spent the day at Minnewaska Preserve, only about 12 minutes away."

"Very nice little cabin for a weekend away. Hot tub was nice to use after a day of hiking. The kitchen had the essentials (no seraded knives, so bring that if you’re cutting anything). I slept in the loft and the bed was comfortable. The ladder rungs are rounded and not flat so those hurt my feet going up - wearing some rubber soled slippers could alleviate that but I didn’t bring those. The hosts were great at communicating. "

"The house is secluded and peaceful with a huge deck for a cool breeze with morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The house was spotless and well equipped with anything you could possibly need. Restaurants, grocery, and Katterskill Falls for hiking all within a 15-20 minute drive. Our host, Nick, was very attentive making sure everything was as we expected ( and it was). Would stay here again if the opportunity arises. I highly recommend this property for your vacation getaway."

"We booked an extended weekend with a couple of families. Both the adults and kids had an amazing time. The kids enjoyed the movie theater room. The adults enjoyed darts, pool table, bar, and hot tub. The home was very clean. It also had everything we could possibly need such was towels, cookware, paper products, soaps and shampoos. We honestly didn't want to leave and plan to return. The pictures of the home definitely does not do full justice on how beautiful it really is."
