"Building itself needs some TLC"

"The property, inside and out, was clean and new-looking. The unit was the perfect size for me and my spouse. We appreciated being in close walking distance to downtown Bayfield shops and restaurants. We also liked being an easy bike ride to the Madeline Island ferry. Our host very responsive when I reported a minor issue and she sent over a maintenance person who quickly resolved the problem. All in all we had a very pleasant stay at the Boatyard condo."

It's so centrally located and close to the ferry dock, restaurants, groceries, etc. Also, for swimming you can easily drive down the street to Joni's Beach, which is a perfectly nice in-town beach. Or you can go to the Town Park, State Park, or other spots you'll find on the map or by asking around. "This is a spacious property in a convenient location in downtown Bayfield. The bedrooms were nice size and the beds were clean and comfortable. The seating in the public rooms was more than adequate for a family or fair sized group of friends, probably the most comfortable we’ve had at a VRBO rental. The kitchen is a large enough space for sharing cooking duties and it’s well stocked with all the necessary equipment. We ate in a few times and enjoyed walking to a couple of the many restaurants...
