"Location is great if your using the airport at all. It is quiet and peaceful tucked into the trees. The staff is awesome, very freindly and helpful. Shirley at the front desk was helpful to accomodate a special situation. Nice lobby area if you need to do a little work. I will definately use again for more of our company travel in the Kenai area."

"I booked this hotel for my grandson and his girl while we stayed at the Aspen. After booking our room Hotels.com was out of rooms at the Aspen. I knew they would love the Kenai River Lodge. While right on the road through town, it is also right on the famous fish river Kenai, and has a small bar area on the roof. It is an older rustic lodge and just perfect for my outdoorsy twenty-year-olds. "

"The hotel has easy access for handicapped - elevator to second floor and end doors to shorten the walking distance. Easy access from the main road through the town - back from the road just enough to get away from road noise - which isn't bad anyway. The rooms are clean and spacious to be accessible for walkers. The front desk is manned at all times."

"This motel is not luxurious. However, if your are interested in breaking up you trip from Homer to Anchorage and appreciate cleanliness and a comfortable bed, this is your place. It is right on the route in downtown Soldotna - an easy in - out from the highway. You park right in front of your unit. This was important for my husband who uses a walker. There was ample room inside to maneuver his wallker. Checkin and check out was easily done. The front desk service was very personable and helpful. The attached restaurant has very good food!"

"The Hibernation Station is conveniently located only a few minutes from Soldotna. The property is well cared for, my room was impeccably clean, and the staff are attentive and very nice. My room was huge compared to most hotel rooms and the bed was comfortable. There is a coffee machine located near the front desk along with a small shelf stocked with toiletries and extra towels, if needed during your stay. I stayed for one week for work and slept well each night. I have zero complaints and would definitely recommend! "
